[history]
San Francisco investment banker Warren Hellman got quite an earful at his meeting with Gov. Gray Davis the other day, when he had to explain why -- after years of supporting Davis and coming out against the recall -- he showed up at Arnold Schwarzenegger's big economic summit.

KEYWORDS: governor; toast
So many gems in here.
"You're pissing me off," he reportedly told Davis, "because you haven't done me any favors at all -- because I haven't asked for any favors, other than that you be a good governor."
Also note the non-interview with Booze Crustamonte. Enjoy!

Gray Davis is just one of those politicians that you want to go away no matter who replaces him. Same goes for Hillary, Schumer, Ted Kennedy...........

Jawohl!

I misread the sentence. I thought he was saying "other than that (whatever that was) you be a good governor.
I see now he was referring to the favors he was or was not asking.
Thanks for pointing that out...

"I'm giving lots of money against the recall because I don't think it's right, but I'm supporting Schwarzenegger," Hellman said. ping! Maybe this is what you mentioned on the other thread.
