August 27, 2003 -- Rep. Jerry Nadler's over-the-top attack on the White House this past weekend may make his fellow ultra-liberal Democrats feel all warm and toasty, but the congressman has done his nation, his city and his constituents a substantial disservice.

I don't think an EPA report on air quality would have stopped those firemen, policemen, ironworkers, and other noble volunteers from spending days trying to save their fellow countrymen. Only someone like Nadler would have even paid any attention to something like that.

There were Americans buried under all that rubble.

I remember that they tried to threaten the firemen with arrest to get them to leave.It didn't work. I guess this jackass would have removed them with military force?
