All the whiners on this thread should consider the fact that not everyone is willing to abandon all principles just to "win", including the owner/founder of FreeRepublic.com. I really wish you'd people would just let democracy work. This isn't a normal election. Just 25-30% of the vote can win...

Right, and with more Dems that Pubs, the labor unions and Mexican political organizations working to get the vote out for Cruz, and them all united behind one candidate, while the Pubs are split, who has the best chance of getting the most votes?

A more appropiate marker is the Dim will get 35-40% due to the Dim robot effect. So to beat that you need someone other than McClintock.

Principal is fine, winning is better. Having a seat at the table sure beats sitting in a phone booth.
