At a turning point

Watts Wacker of FirstMatter agrees that the world is at a historical turning point.

Coalition forces are pounding Iraqi targets as war protesters fill the streets of cities across the world - including many in the United States. The stock market is flat. The homeland is insecure. Who knows what the future holds? Actually, no one. But there are hardheaded oracles - called futurists - who get paid to study the past and present in order to look beyond the horizon. Nationally known prognosticators don't necessarily agree on what's ahead, but several say America and the world are at a major turning point.

OK, this article is a few months old but, I just found it today. These so-called 'futurists' are cut from the same cloth as psychiatrists. Their only redeeming quality is cleverness. They're clever enough to talk weak-minded fools into giving them money. Of course, they never get a dime out of anyone with any self-respect and self-confidence. They're also, invariably, all communists.

They're always wrong. Yet, there's always a steady supply of kool-aid drinkers who keep giving these idiots money. It's a total joke. I'm sure most of these morons know, deep down, that they are P.T. Barnum juniors. I don't blame them as much as I blame the suckers. Mainly, what they do, is state the obvious of the moment (albeit, colored by their socialistic leanings) and, pathetic losers buy into it. "Something big is going on". Lol...some dope is paying for that? "Epoch of uncertainty"...hahahaha.

I know I've figured out my major drawback in life. It's that I can never fully comprehend that there are really that many stupid people out there and, therefore, can't be dishonest enough to rob them blind. How did their ancestors survive long enough to reproduce?

Sadly, it's not. What's even more maddening is that major corporations hire these charlatans to give seminars, etc., to their employees. This means that when we purchase a product, we are more than likely giving our money to them.

Then there are government agencies hiring them with our tax dollars....some Freeper's tag line is appropriate here...."I feel like I'm taking crazy pills".
