I hope your wife or daughter gets called for the next non-anonymous jury of this nature.OK, so you're a jerk. Now that that is established, do you think telling a jury pool that they have to be kept annonymous because the defendant might kill them enhanses or diminishes the presumption of innocence?
I didn't say it may not be neccessary but it might give his lawyer a grounds for appeal before they get started.

Your original post indicated to me a total lack of concern for the jury's safety. Maybe I misread you, maybe not. I wanted you to think about the jury's safety, and apparently you now have, enough to engage in abuse-button-worthy name-calling (I won't push).
I've sat on a Federal jury that sent a coke dealer down the river. The guy was dealing in kilogram quantities, and the thought of possible retribution crossed my mind. The fact that this group is known for witness and jury tampering/intimidation results in my having no problems with protecting the citizens serving on their jury. If it were that big of an issue regarding an appeal, one assumes the prosecutors wouldn't do it.
