I don't live on the left coast and could care less if the consertative Californian's sell their souls and minimize their principles.
If you care about the Republican Party nationally, you ought to be concerned that the GOP in the largest state could be taken over by a group who are for gay adoptions -- something that would have been repugnant to Democrats as well as Republicans just a few years ago.

If everyone was concerned (as they should be) this board should be overwhelmingly supporting McClintock. Unfortunately, that's not the case. It's win at all costs even if it means compromising one's faith and values.

This is one of the left's favorite tactics, bring up anything gay, associate it any way possible with a Republican, and sit back as they implode. Surely, with the number of issues in California, its size and value to the US economy, you can't rank gay adoption in the top five issues, even in terms of potential destructive capability. And yet, even if you do, shouldn't this be about trying to guard against as many threats as possible (like most of the Democrat's platform) rather than leaving the entire treasure open to destruction while you protect single issues?
