Tom Clancy's new novel has been otu for three weeks....it's still not cracked the NY Times list....think that's real? Actually, I do. His books have been getting crappier and crappier.

Yes, but..he stil as a huge following..the point I was trying to make is that the Times probably surveys books store in the East Village, and Haight-ashbury, and Cambridge...

BTW..I agree with you on his books...the newest one is different..maybe becuase it's HAlf THE SIZE OF THE previous ones...yet still the same price...
