"But there will be more successes and the outcome is not in doubt," he said. The fact that enlistments and retention figures are up is indication of the morale and dedication of the U.S. militaryRummy setting the record straight.

Rumsfeld hasn't been the only one saying this, IIRC both Tony Snow and Brit both raised that point.

You know. Your hubby knows. The leaders know. The terrorists, what's left of them, have a pretty good idea, too.
Perhaps the left will snap out of their stupor sometime this decade and help the troops instead of the terrorists.
Trying to find the soccer article before the next thunderstorm arrives. No drought here in SW Fla.

Yes, those running this war made the point clear last week after the bombing. Amb. Bremer, SOD Rumsfeld, Gen. Abizaid, three different commanding officers from various locations in Iraq ALL repeated the same basic facts: WE are winning, the troops are doing a great job, we are not retreating.
The press, almost without exception ignored the experts and listened to the critics. It was surreal and SCANDALOUS. Tony and a few others actually listened, but they can't compete with 24/7 deceit from the mainstream press. Ask your neighbors what they think is going on in Iraq. The press is failing our troops.

How the h*($ did the press get from Rummy's viewpoint after 9/11 to the cringing, sobbing, make-in-the-pants attitude of Howie "Why Do They Hate Us?" Dean?

The Internet has changed reporting. We don't have to listen to Peter and Dan. I haven't since Free Republic came along. Tens of thousands are here now, with more to come. This change will not be reversed, either.

"This war is real, it is difficult, it is dangerous and it is far from over, but we are making good progress," he (Rumsfeld) said. We are in the middle of a most righteous fight--winning untold victories--thanks to the skill and commitment of our fighting men and women.
May God bless their mission and bring them home to us safe and sound!
To: Ukiapah Heep
Beats me, the press sure seems to love Howie though......God help us if a rat wins the WH.
I do know one thing...the American people have become complacent again...911 is just a bad memory that they think won't happen again.

We are right. Check my homepage. Go back to the beginning of the war. Listen to the troops, the Iraqi people. The
press is the number one problem for our troops. They can handle the enemy. They can't get word of their daily SUCCESSES out to the world.

Did you hear Rush today? He's on the side of the troops and the truth. You can also count on Sean and a few other BIG names to inform their loyal fans of the importance of this fight.
We have a growing army of individuals finding and spreading the news - people who did not sleep through 9-11, know the character of our awesome military, as well as the MO of the enemies - both foreign and domestic. We are motivated.
