Regarding the anti trust laws they were a very importnat tool in controling the unions in the early Twentieth Century. I just wished you to be aware of that.And then the unions were deliberately exempted from those laws. I just wished you to be aware of that.

I agree that Unions were deliberately exempted from those laws but the repeal of those laws wuld not affect the unions which are exempt and the "predatory practices" which those laws curtailed were found to be harmful to the United States of America prior to their enactment. I do not think repeal of teh anti-trust laws ois in the immediate future and as regards tariffs would you care to find a study that shows a net harm from a protective tariff via quantitative analysis?
