I dare say the Refiner is purifying the gold.
This is more though Like Shadrack, Meshack, and Abendigo.
Judge Moore is obying the Gretest Commandment:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." Matthew 22:37-38

Well, if you happen to be looking for Jesus, try my old neighborhood down in Miami.
Just stand out in the middle of the street and yell out the name, about a dozen people will answer.

The name sounds better in Spanish than English, or at least less pretentious to Anglophone ears. Heyzus. Cool. Thus perhaps its popularity among the Hispanic community. Just an off the cuff hypothesis.

You're a hypocrite, Byron. You can't brag about the war record of someone who was an MP and didn't get a scratch in Nam, but condemn me for mentioning a Congressional Medal of Honor winner, other decorated war veterans and people I knew personally who gave the ultimate sacrifice. You're on thin ice. I wish you had a leg to stand on but you don't. By called you on it rightly.

It may have a whole lot to do with the overabundance of Jose's and Maria's around the 'hood.

I'm here now, and you don't have what it takes to shut me up, things like what you posted, simply reflect back on you. Put a sock in it, Luis. How did you gain citizenship, by bribery? You are a phony conservative through and through.
To: Fred Mertz
You're not enough to get it done Fred...not enough.
Nor are the others waiting to push it.

Madison's position, as well as that of Jefferson who influenced him, is fairly clear.Madisons position is clear alright but not in your favor.
Both he and Jefferson supported and voted for the state of Virginias' Sabbath Laws which were drawn directly from the Fourth Commandment.
Back to the drawing board.

How is that not in my favor?
To: TheBattman
I must have misunderstood your position. Can you clarify it as to the mythical "Wall of Saparation"?
To: jwalsh07
It's simple - there is no constitutional "Wall of Separation" between church and state.
The founding fathers were quite clear in their intent regarding religion - the state should not interefere with the free practice of religion, and should not create a mandatory belief/regigion system. Nowhere does the constitution indicate that there should be a "separation", just simply that the congress shall pass no laws that interfere with religion.
To: TheBattman
You must not have read the ballance of my post. Actually, I did and I agree with your views. When I said the separation of church and state is found in "one of the penumbras" I was being sarcastic. When the courts want to invent a constitutional doctrine that isn't in the Constitution they sometimes claim the doctrine is in the "penumbra" or shadow of the document, as in Roe v. Wade. I should have closed my sarcasm tag.
