LOL.
Every now and then I'll sit down and put together what I think is a "dream lineup" for a talk radio station, comprised of all my favorite hosts in time slots as close to their own slots as possible.
Check this out:
5:00 to 10:00 AM -- Imus in the morning, with his entire cast.
10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon -- Ed Koch, immediately after he left office as Mayor of New York.
12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM -- Rush Limbaugh, c.1990-1994, with his full supporting staff including H.R. "Kit" Carson, Lo Bianco, and (of course) Bo Snerdley.
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM -- Bob Grant.
6:00 PM to 10:00 PM -- Jay Diamond (even though he never liked this slot on WABC because he was always pre-empted by the Yankees and Devils).
10:00 PM to 2:00 AM -- Curtis Sliwa (minus Ron Kuby). Some of the most bizarre things you ever heard on the air were uttered by Curtis Sliwa when he didn't have someone to rein him in.
2:00 AM to 5:00 AM -- Art Bell, if you could stay up late enough to listen to him.

I don't think that arrangement is going to last long. Levin from 6-7, then Ingraham from 7-9, and then Crowley from 9-10? Three different hosts in a time slot that should only have one?
Keep in mind that it is going to be convoluted no matter how they schedule them. Once the Devils are back on the air starting in late October, they are going to be on about 90 times in the course of six months anyway.

Yeah, it looks like it's going to be FUBAR for a while. I'm just glad 'Dr. Levin' is back! He may have a voice for print, needs some polish, but I love his show anyway.

Mark Levin is at his best when he's on once a week, or even better when he's on periodically as a guest. I think he's a brilliant guy and a sharp wit, but he simply doesn't have enough creativity to generate interest on slow news days.
That's the kind of thing that made Jay Diamond a legend on the air. He would find the most trivial story on page 47 of the New York Times, and spend 20 minutes doing voice-overs and caricatures of the people in the story.

I'd date her in a heartbeat and I am 20. What is up with Graham?

WABC is airing Laura about 10 hours after her show is recorded during 9-12 noon. I'm listening to her now filling in for Gambling, and it sounds like the evening show will be in addition to her morning show, not a rebroadcast. She's in the midst of changing companies right now, so the details have been a little hard to come by, but it sounds like it is all settled now. It should be clear by the end of this week(if it already isn't to all).

You are correct. I listened too and found out that Laura is taking up this robust schedule. Not the first time I've popped off without all the information I should have. Probably won't be the last either....

Come on. She's much too pretty for radio. And I bet she's not even a Schwarzenegger supporter.

More selling principle short, in the name of apparent, immediate political advantage for a political party (support of Schwarzenegger). One reaps what one sows.
