You know where Burnham Park is? Down the old Rt 24 heading out of town towards Mendham? There is a pond with fountains in it. There is a small monument on the bank of the pond, towards the road, across from the BMW dealership. It is a commemoration and expression of gratitude to Thomas Paine. Check it out sometime. It's pretty neat.
