Yes, I need to come around more to India's point of view, thanks. My main argument with some Indians is that the've strongly argued that we should have attacked Pakistan (or even Saudi Arabia before Iraq). I didn't think that was feasible in the first quarter of 2003, but now with the Taliban playing Laos-style hit and run with us in Afghanistan from northern Pakistan, I think we need to get a lot tougher. At least we turned them down for their F16 purchase!
In any case, my sympathies are strongly with India today, even if they think we're fighting the war on terrorism backwards. Our State Department does a lot of things backwards. There's entirely too much CFR influence, elitism at its worst. State seriously thinks America can do anything just by throwing money and influence at it.
