Yeah, well, lawsuits are pretty expensive too.

And it simply isn't right to allow people to be raped and murdered in prison.

But like a lot of people, I find myself with no sympathy for Geoghan. He was a monster. People are cheering vigilante justice because real justice is no longer being dispensed. That's the problem. If the law won't do it, others will step up to the plate. It's a shame, but it's also inevitable.

I don't get this argument; it simply isn't right to allow people to be raped and murdered in prison?

Do you think people are allowed to commit crimes in prison? If you do you need a wake up call. Belive it or not convicts, commit crimes, even in prison. Including murder, rape, narcotics trafficing, prostitution, bribery, intimidation, loan sharking, etc...

What I can't belive is that murder and rape, is allowed within our civilized society to such an extent that those that commit such crimes are not put to death upon conviction.

I am pleased that this child rapist who destroyed so many young lives went out violently and painfully. He was evil incarnate. May he rot in hell with all other child molesters.
