I agree. While I have yet to decide who I will vote for (probably won't know until the last week), I do recognize that not only do we need a physical conservative as governor, but there are a lot of other positions in the state house that need to be replaced. I see a real possiblity that AS as governor just might motivate more folks to get involved with the republican party here in California. And *that* is what I think the democrats fear the most... not McClintock for governor but someone who can motivate the Republican base. Maybe it could become respectable again.
