Looks like that is what it is going to come down do in Late September and October, if the race is still within margin for error.

Do you think McClintock will bail out and throw his support to Arnold?

YOU GET ARNOLD OUT OF THE RACE. BUZZ OFF VERONICA. MCCLINTOCK STAYS. The RINO goes.

Although I believe the GOP is most capable of extracting California from the pit it is currently in, I'm afraid that the austerity measures necessary to do so will keep the GOP from ever gaining elected office in this state again. The only thing in Davis' favor is that the economic cycle is not in his favor, but his panic during the energy crisis and his liberal socialist policies have exacerbated an already tenuous situation.
My solution to this debacle is elimination of the state income tax and initiation of a consumption tax (like the European Value Added Tax, VAT) as well as registration of all illegal immigrant workers so that the cash compensation loophole can be closed and that our emergency rooms aren't used as clinics.
Control of immigration and attracting business are keys to recovery. No DemocRAT policy will ever do anything to address those two issues.

P.S.
This LAT poll is based on Simon still being in the running against Ah-Noldt and McClintock.
It's, as Hillary would say, "Old news"!
Garbage.

McClintock - GET OUT of the race! His #'s are rising, so don't count on it. But I'd imagine he'd drop out if Arnold holds an indisputable advantage in every poll come election time.

No. McClintok needs to stay in the race.
He needs to show how liberal arnie and bustamente are the same. He needs to get the message out that it's ok to vote for a conservative.
He needs to challenge california to loose the "anyone but a conservative" attitude. After all, that attitude led to re-electing Davis and the people now see how that attitude hurt the State.
It's an excellent opportunity to soften up the public in it's unfounded hate for conservatives in that State.
I would run this platform and also get the message out that if you want to elect Swartznegger or Bustamonte, you might s well not recall Davis.

McClintock - GET OUT of the race! Premature.
McClintock/Simon have 33% of Republicans. Schwarzenegger 39%.
The difference is not huge.
Schwarzenegger trails Bustamante by a wide margin. His numbers are a bit more than Simon + McClintock.
I'm actually thinking Ueberroth may be the one who can beat the Dems.

McClintock - GET OUT of the race! No way!!! The conservative stays, the RINO should be shown the door.

Arnold--GET OUT NOW so that we have someone who can WIN.
To: veronica
The Demos have one person running.
The Repubs have two. Ok, ok one is a RINO. But puts the "R" next to his name.
If either Arnold or McClintock do not drop out, Mr. Aztlan will win.
I think Arnold has a better chance, but Grey will do his best to destroy him in the last few days what with his infidelity and other issues that most of us will not be aware of until Gray brings them up.
