MCCLINTOCK STAYS. The RINO goes.

21% is substantial. I didn't realize he had such a large percentage of GOP support. If the Swartzenager republicans made a gutsy move and switched their support to the real republican, McClintock he might actually have a chance.

With all due respect, you are a freeper from NJ.

Being from California I know my state pretty well. At this point in time, any Republican who hopes to win in CA. must pull in Independents and some Democrats. I know MANY Democrats who are sick to death of Davis - he really is despised by Democrats. But these folks won't vote for McClintock, I guarantee it. They could very well vote for Arnold however.

Some Republicans seem to prefer a pyrrhic victory. It's a boneheaded approach.

The problem is in the math. There are a million and a half more Dems than Reps, augmented by 150,000 Greens. Further, there are over 2 million Independents, who have not been swayed to harder line GOP candidates, and who like to hang in the middle.

McClintock could take every single Republican vote and still lose.
