Every politician in this country that has been in office for any period of time funnels money to special interest and to programs that can garner them votes.
Go to the smallest council meeting all the way to Congress and this happens.
All of them need to be reined in and this foolish spending needs to be stopped. The only chance is term limits and that would only slow it down. We give our elected officials to much latitude and even when they do something wrong there is nothing that can be done.
You have people serving time in jail for a lot less than our elected officials are doing.

However, back to my 'Dream' of nude politicians being whipped down the street by justly irate citizens-Is it time to turn 'The Dream' into reality?
