Starting next month, two of Talk Radio Network's syndicated hosts will compete head-to-head for nighttime talk listeners in New York City: On Sept. 2, Laura Ingraham's program will begin airing in the 7-9pm slot on WABC.
The final hour of her show will go directly against TRN's Michael Savage, whose program debuted last week in the 8-10pm shift on crosstown Talker WOR.
Upon Ingraham's arrival at WABC, Mark Levin and Monica Crowley will move their shows to 6-7pm and 9-10pm, respectively, while ABC Radio Networks' syndicated Larry Elder is dropped from the station's lineup.

While Savage also relies heavily on West Coast (specifically San Fran.) information, his Brooklyn upbringing provides him with a good base of New York region trivia and analogy that connects him with that particular audience. As another Bronx native, please allow me to correct you: Savage is from the Bronx.

Thanks, I'm glad to see Mark back.

I used to like Hannity but rarely listen to him anymore. Hannity has been great for the conservative cause but needs some new material. If I hear him quote Reagan's tear down this wall" speech one more time......

James Golden used to have his own show......Rush's producer....Snerdly.......and they cancelled him. He was GREAT and really missed on Sunday nites.
Elder became boring pretty quickly and having his mother on his show was silly.

Laura is OK. I heard that she is getting a TV slot on FOX in the fall. She, and Ann C., would make great fill-ins for Rush, but he never invites women, or so it seems. |

Sure wish Gambling would be gone for good. He's a Bey wannabe. Always seeking those who disagree with the administration on just about EVERY topic.

Do YOU you know
anything about Laura Ingram?
I'd suggest learning something about Ingram before defending sloppy, ignorant critiques.

"[I]n time I will be proven correct in my analysis of her likely failure."You don't need to be Miss Cleo to predict the demise of 90% of the "radio personalities" auditioning these days.
Laura Ingram, as a warrior for conservatism, deserves a shot as much as anyone.

I could see the point about Elder not being for a NY audience. I like the lowkey of his show after listening to Rush and Sean, and Levin. I used to love 'minoriries with priorities' with James and Joel.
