Much of it is third-world in nature. In the LA area you just have to keep moving farther out, or it will catch up with you. I'm tired of fighting it, have sold my house and am leaving the state.

You can run, but you can't hide.

The INS estimated in February, 2002 that the illegal alien population of Idaho was 19,000 residents. That was an increase from the INS estimate of about 16,000 as of October 1996. That was up from the 12,000 the INS estimated the illegal alien population to be in October 1992. The 33% jump in illegal aliens over those four years was exceeded by only 6 states.

Where you going to run to next?

Thanks for research Joe. It's an awfully big state and those are still pretty small numbers compared to here. I would imagine that most of those numbers come from a the more agricultural south. Doesen't matter though. There was a lot of thought going into our decision...and that was only a small part of it. Other than nice weather there really is nothing here that I like. Don't forget about the crowds everywhere you go around here, and the traffic that can waste hours a day.
