If you did anything that helped to elect Clinton, then you have to accept blame. Bush ran a lousy campaign after the "read my lips" thing, but many of us voted for him because we knew better then to allow the Clintons into our White House. If more people also knew better, the Clintons would be back in Arkansas....no scandals, no biggest tax increase, no Senator Hillary, no 370+ Liberal judges appointed plus 2 Liberal Supreme Court Justices, no wag the dogs, etc, etc. It was a rotten 8 years, because disgruntle conservatives wanted to "teach Bush a lesson." How foolish.

...But Bush takes the lion's share of all blame. He's the man who made a promise to the American people. He's the man who listened to a pack of Democrats on Capitol Hill who stroked his ego. I guess the esteem of rank and file Republicans weren't enough for him to withstand the onslaught of people he knew to be liars and working against him. I guess the one man we expected to stand on principle couldn't. Gotta make a deal. Gotta save the Office. Gotta keep the entitlement checks flowing. Maybe he thought the voters didn't matter. Maybe you do, too. But I have a vote and the Republicans have to earn it. They don't get get it by default. If they campaign one way and operate another, then they don't get my vote. But yours is their pocket. You've sold. Not me.

Bush turned his back on Reagan and paved the way for Clinton. That's on his shoulders and no amount of spinning on your part is going to change that.

Sure. More blame. Blame it on the men and women who voted in Senate and House Majorities for the Republicans in 1994, 96, 98, and 2000. Right. It's the voter's fault that the Senate choked when impeachment was in their hands. We vote the majorities, our elected leaders waffle on impeachment and go-along to get-along on spending measures to "steal" issues from the Democrats. When you're ready to move on to the real battles of Conservative vs. Liberal and quit the kiddie game of "R" vs. "D," let me know.
