But being gay and Muslim, especially after Sept. 11, 2001, requires homosexuals to defend their religious identity in the face of an increasingly suspicious U.S. government and their sexual orientation amid hostility from the conservative Islamic community.
Wow. Thousands of Americans died on 9-11 and the ones who have suffered worst are homosexual Muslims.
