Jesus said that those who follow him would do the four things that he did: heal the sick, raise the dead, speak in tongues(?), help the poor(?). I can't really remember exactly, but it's in the New Testament, naturally.

He went through the villages and healed every disease.
"He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil[1] spirits and to heal every disease and sickness." Matthew 10:1.
Also, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;" Mark 16:17.
