Mine, too and my father in law. They also sponsored my sons' boy scout troop. Middle son has a Parvae Diem medal. (I hope that's spelled right.)

I didn't know my dad was in K of C until after he died. I found all kinds of stuff that I didn't know about. He dropped out after he and my mom got married. He ended up taking care of me, my mom, and his mom after my birth. He was 50, grandma was 90, and mom was 40. They got married late in life, and he never rejoined. Too bad, it would have been good for him to get out once in a while...
