Willie Brown couldn't have said it better himself. Thanks for revealing your true colors as a liberal who believes more government programs are the answer to social problems that result from the social liberalism (divorce, out-of-wedlock births) that Arnie is fine with.
You don't know me. You don't know my background or my decades of involvment in the Republican Party; I am a staunch conservative. The fact that I recognize the need to try and control kids who are products of divorce and/or out of wedlock births doesn't change that. It does show, however, that I have a clearer understanding of the problem than you.
What would you do? Just let them run the streets? Our prisons are full of kids who grew up after being allowed to runs the streets. Compare the cost of running prisons to the cost of afterschool programs and you might, just might understand where I am coming from. Of course that would require an honest interpretation if the issue and it's clear you're being guided by your emotions.
