What makes you think lib-leftist Arnie will do that?
How is Arnie going to pay for all of his leftie, nanny-state programs? You know the stuff that he has believed in all of his life, not empty promises from an empty suit made weeks before the election.
Firstly, he's a a moderate Republican, not a lib leftist. And what makes you think he won't? He's a fiscal conservative who happens to believe in programs for kids. From my experience I know that's the best way to keep kids from becoming long term liabilities and perhaps even convicts. It's good common sense. Too bad you don't see that.

Like what...keeping kids out of trouble and eventually prisons? We can either pay for their afterschool programs now or pay for their crimes later. That’s an easy choice, I’d say.

Allowing your personal opinion of the man and/or cynicism of politicos in general to guide your decisions might work for you, but I'll rely on the man’s history of supporting the Republican Party and it's fiscal ideology.
