I believe what politicians and their chief advisors way in unguarded moments -- not what they say as damage control when their candid comments cause s-- to hit the fan.
If you're the type who swallows the scripted comments of politicians more than their candid, unscripted spasms of candor, then you're somebody who'd better stay away from bridge salesmen!
