Another point that PJB makes, but quickly, is that one NEVER hears the "free trade" types talking about building up the USA--rather, all we hear is about "democratizing" the 3rd world into which we stuff our factories and jobs.
Damn good point. I really don't recall having learned, ANYWHERE, that it's incumbent on me or my children to install "democracy" in China at the expense of our house.

Whether we are in the Last Times or not is not my area of expertise. However, may I point out to you that if there will be an Anti-Christ, he/she/it most certainly will resemble one Clinton or the other.

Cleveland, like every other Rust Belt city, pays the price for the generations of lunatic-left-wing "liberals'" mindless and with no thought for consequeces destruction of American Industry by regulation.
All of the intelligent Clevelanders long ago emigrated to California -- and more recently, taking their brains and Wealth-creating abilities with them, to Arizona, Nevado, Colorado, Washington and to Utah.
The sad-sacks left in America's Clevelands and Allentowns, meanwhile, also continue to pay for those same generations of lunatic-left-wing "liberals'" cynical realization of the insidious taxation possible by watching the Real United States of America Dollars supposedly "lost" to the "trade imbalances" so feared by such trade ignoranuses and Luddites as P J Buchanan et al -- are given to the feral gummint [And squandered by it!] in exchange for the more than One Trillion Dollars of face "value" of the worthless pieces of paper called Treasury Bills, Notes and Bonds that are held in the amount of more than Half a Trillion Dollars by the biggest trade surplace "winners," Japan and the psychopathologically-predatory Peking-based criminal gang that calls itself, "china."
And to blame Republicans for their delusional woes.

I blame Democrats and Republicans-they both disgust me when it omes to free trade. Fair trade with similar economies.

G'Day, Destro
Yours would a be nice sentiment except for the sad fact there have until recently -- and for more than seven decades before that -- been no "Capital 'R'" Republicans worthy of the name and the "DemocRATic" potty was long-ago taken over by un-and-anti-American organized criminals and traitors of the F D "Brown-Paper-Bag" Roosevelt, L B "Leave-the-Money-in-the-Box-by-the-Door" Johnson, Jimmah "Never-Met-an-America-Hating-Tyrant-Whose-Interests-I-Won't-Promote-Ahead-of-America's" KKKarter and Hilly-Billy-Bubbah "Peking's-'man'-in-Washington" Rotten-KKKli'toon variety.
And it would even be a relevant and worthwhile sentiment except that the mobbed-up "DemocRATS," who have long owned, operated and controlled America's feral-gummint machinery, have so crammed the bureacracy with mobbed-up ruling-by-regulation and by-judicial-fiat "DemocRATic" potty activists that every politician of every political persuasion but theirs has been very effectively rendered totally redundant.
Not even the President of the United States of America can give an order to a United States feral-gummint Department -- and despite it is ostensibly a part of his own Administration -- and have any expectation whatever that it will be executed.
Just as is the case with the relationship among its politicians and the monstrously malignant "permanent public service" tyranny that has, in its Kingdom of Canberra, from which it owns, operates and controls the rest of the Commonwealth, created its own quite-separate-from and above the rest of Australia colonial headquarters, in which -- to the extent that its annointed enjoy an average income almost double that of its subservient subjects throughout Australia Minor -- it and its self-annointed and self-perpetuating courtiers serve only their own and their mobbed-up union mates' interests -- and those of the Geneva-based WLO and "World Heritage" criminal internationalist gangs to which, post the gangster-traitors Whitlam, Hawke and Keating, they have arbitrarily surrendered all and every Australian State's every Right -- and much of The Commonealth of Australia's Sovereignty!
Best ones -- Brian

Especially when we ourselves are supposed to be a Republic not a Democracy. True democracy in non Western countries would be the sure path to populist anti Western urges taken to geopolitical fruition. What a disaster.
