Hi: I was at Borders and read some of Franken's book. He goes after Ann Coulter with both barrles blazing. He makes some good points on descrepancies in her book Slander. He also comments on Oreilly and Bush etc. I have an open mind and am not a Bushbot, but one thing made me put the book down and I swear I am not going to ever look at that book again. Towards the end of the book he has a cartoon illustration of Jesus Christ. He makes Jesus out to be a fool who is a charlatan who is tricking the people to follow him. It was obviously an attempt to equate Jesus with Bush somehow. I can't explain it very well but I was truly disgusted and offended by this book. I will read anything and form my own opinions but Franken is what just another spiteful liberal. If you are easily offended by such imagery, please do not pick this book up. If you do, please skip that part about Jesus. I have never felt like this. My soul feels wounded.

If he will lie about Jesus, don't you think he may shade the truth a bit for Coulter, O'Reilly, or any of his other targets in his book?

It's sad and disgusting. May God bless you for resisting. And thanks for the warning, too. I know many people think it's a good idea to "know thine enemy." But I've had my fill of leftie evil BS -- I generally stay as far away as possible from "them" and the things they're pushing.

Its great when the true colors of a liberal comes foaming out of their mouth. Hopefully one day he will understand who Jesus really is, because being trapped in liberal's mind throughout eternity, would be as close to hell as anything I can think of.

I also went into a Borders yesterday and was greeted by a huge display with piles of Franken's book. They were marked 30% off and the piles looked like they had not been disturbed. I walked past and went straight to 'new fiction'.

Obviously Fox thinks Franken is a moron or mentally ill, or both, since they are threatening a lawsuit with him. I understand when he stormed the dinner table at a Fox News function it got pretty ugly. I think he is a complete moron, as well as a hateful liberal. I really don't know who would care to read his book, other than his leftists friends and the staff at the New York Times.

And that wasn't even the first run-in he's had with people at Fox. Sean Hannity has, on his radio show, Talked about another incident where he and Colmes had finished taping an episode of H & C with Franken, and Franken followed Hannity back to his dressing room. Apparently Franken was really screaming and carrying on, to the point where Sean called security and had him escorted from the building. Sean did say that Franken later apologized for that incident, but you have to wonder about that guy's stability.

Cheer up and don't let Franken get you down. Just imagine when someday, he might meet Jesus and have to personalize the cartoon when he (Franken) is asked by Jesus if he authored the piece. Franken reminds me of the story about the man who spent his life saying bad things about the Blessed Mother and when he went to meet Jesus, he was met with the words, Oh you're the guy who hated My mother.
