I am surprised that Woodrow Wilson is not among neocon heroes. It is he who wanted to make the world "safe for democracy." And if neocon foreign policy is directed toward that end, then I don't understand it at all.

Neocon = interventionist. Maybe that's not always bad, but it's the picking & choosing that bothers me. We have Cuba led by Communist dictator Fidel Castro (Dan Blather's hero) just a few miles off our coast still in power. Maybe he'll be the "Dictator of the Month" for September. And then Vincente Fox & Jean Chretien will be the flavor of the month in October & November. Only then will the North American continent be safe.

Is a sarcasm tag really needed?
