You really should read the book. You are supposed to have a minimum of 20 carbs a day during induction. These should come from mostly salads. You sound like you are physically active so you may require more carbs but make sure they are from good sources such as salads/berries/nuts and not processed sugar.

Personally, I do not follow atkins but I very much eat low carb foods. I try to keep my carbs under 60 a day. Every once in a while I will eat up to about 100 and some days I eat as few as 30 to 40.

Well, I did read the book... I guess I was thinking 20 a day was more of an average (15 one day, 25 another).

All of my cals and carbs come from meat and cheese. (Yeah, I know I should eat vegetables...) But, I haven't had any processed sugar in a long while.
