That sounds good, although as most people know too many of the peanut butter cups have....you know...side effects.;^)

They are currently using a new sugar alcohol called Erythritol that doesn't have these side effects. Caborite makes a cady bar called ZCARB now and I didn't have any probs. I suspect most products with sugar alcohols will switch to this.

As for bread, I occasionally order Joe Bread, which is locarb and not bad tasting. I just learned about this bread which has gotten rave reviews but isn't anywhere near me, made by Osolo Some of that "bread" out there is disgusting.

Question for you: My wife is hypoglycemic and uses "Birch Sugar" which tastes great but is very expensive. Would that be an appropriate sweetener for Atkins? (just curious)

If you put the birch sugar on your tongue, it is sweet but it also feels very cold. (I'm assuming some type of endothermic reaction)
