What if I'm stranded in Hillaryville? What you are describing is a phenomenon called "Balkanization." A patchwork of little autonomous fiefdoms, each with its own set of laws and customs. The wisdom of the Founding Fathers shines through yet again, in not granting complete autonomy to the several states.
