Question for all you intelligent freepers,Are we to little too late in this country where unfortunately for our future generations,liberal views are widely accepted.

Public indoctrination centers are cranking out liberal minions by the thousands each year. Those opposing Judge Moores freedoms also oppose school choice. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Who's side are they really on?
Many vote libertarian, allowing for a Democrat win. Hmmmmm.

We've been too late since the 50s....maybe earlier.

But we're not too late on this forum. We are the majority here by far. The ACLU pals are simply loud.

It's never 'too late' and we do see at least politically Republicans much better off than, say, the 1970s.

And yet culturally, we are unravelling further and further, as a result of forces unleashed in the 1960s and 1970s that keep reverberating. This is happening because even though we've "won back" politics, legal institutions and other institutions (media, universities) have become totally "taken over" by leftism and PC, etc.

We will need to find a way to turn the corner. I beleive that the Democrats know that control of the 3rd branch is all-or-nothing for them and that is why they will stop at nothing to prevent conservative Judges from getting confirmed. Liberal Judges can do *huge* damage to our culture and actively undermine *many* conservative reforms (eg on affirmative action, prop 187, school vouchers, etc).

If this story tells you *one* thing, it tells you why we need to fight harder for Conservatives on Federal courts:
1. It is totally UNACCEPTABLE to have a Democrat in the WHite House, until that party fundamentally changes its philosophy. Even 1-termer Carter gave us the Judge that did this dirty deed. And the cabal of Liberals on the USSC would vote to upheld this dreck.
2. We MUST overcome the Democrats in the Senate and their filibuster on nominations to the Federal bench.
3. We MUST make sure we dont waste precious spots on the Federal bench with Judges like Souter - Liberal wolfs in sheep's clothing. Dont get fooled, support only real Conservatives for the bench.
