Yeah. On one side we have Judge Moore, a Christian conservative, the Chief Justice of Alabama, who served as a company commander in Vietnam.
On the other side we have the ACLU, militant gays, and liberal Dem activists.

Moore is probably informed by his service in the Army. We were taught that that obeying an unlawful order was not required and in fact you were expected to do so.
I believe we all took the same oath when we enlisted.
