I'm guessing this is some state of Alabama judicial review panel. It is. The complaint accused Moore of contempt of court because the eight associate justices had to overrule him.
These are ALABAMA judges reviewing this, and they apparently found enough evidence of contempt to move forward with a full blown trial.
He is suspended with pay.
If found guilty, he would be removed from office.

And which also makes the calls to suspend the pay of the federal judiciary sort of pointless. Not that you could do such a thing under Article III to begin with, but there you go.

Do these Alabama judges understand that they are judges for the sovereign State of Alabama or do they think somehow that they are functionary judges for a national government?
