Iranian and Syrian leaders made no secret of their intent, and Bashar Assad even gave an interview in which he brazenly informed us -- and potential recruits to the jihad -- that the terror masters would use religiously inspired insurrection, assassination and terrorism, first to bloody and then to humiliate the West, and anyone who joined us.

Speaking of Assad, I suspect he may already have a meeting scheduled with the U.S. Army, but doesn't know it yet.

As for the terrorist attacks on our troops in Iraq, I hate them, but it's better that we fight the terrorists in the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of Washington, D.C.

That would be prudent to say the least. The terrorists however don't want to fight us anywhere, their turf or ours, they just want to kill us! Their goal, as I see it, would be to be here in the US and kill if they could. Their mindset is NOT to strike a war for that would be deterimental to their goals.

They want to kill not fight!

It definitely creates a new mindset as to how we defend our way of life IMHO.
