I expect the President to stand on the side of the ten commandments! He has the power to pardon Judge Moore and has the bully pulpit to stand up for the true meaning of the Constitution. He needs to go to the courthouse steps in Montgomery and declare his intention to immediatey use the power of his office to appoint 100 or so conservative recess judicial appointments across America which will stand for the principles of the Founders.

Judge Moore has not been charged with a crime. There is no need for a pardon.
Recess appointments are only good until the end of the congressional session, as I understand. It is much better to get judges appointed permanently.
I also think you have a very naive view of the bully pulpit, which has been diminished since Reagan's day. I doubt the press would even show any sttement that was made from Alabama...and any appearance to rail against a judicial decision would be interpreted as interfering in the judiciary.

Damn..... where are all these judges gonna serve? There aren't but 58 Article III vacancies in the 877 Federal Judiciary open at this time.......
Who is going to pay the salaries for all these recess appointed Judges should they occur? You do know they are prohibited from drawing a Federal pay check, don't you, while serving as a recess appointment. Maybe they would work for free.....
