Gee, a brand new person knows about Live Threads and posts one. I am so impressed.

It wasn't difficult, I've seen them here all the time.

Most new members are nervous to even reply to threads. You however, are just brimming with self confidence.

What is there to be scared of? I finally got my computer and I wanted to participate, I've recieved a cold welcome so far though.

Perhaps it is because you attack those who aren't perfect conservatives. Perhaps it is because you are posting divisive stuff.

And how is it that you just got your computer but yet you are so familiar with things here?

Sadly, suspicion, cynicism and criticism are par for the course around here.

The good news, though, is that there are a lot of extremely brilliant contributors, too.

Stick with it, and I promise you, you'll learn a LOT and will no doubt find the Free Republic to be a rewarding place to spend some time.

And if you really ARE a retread, then just don't do that thing that you did last time. :^)

I think most receive a cold welcome. I was ready to leave after my first few days here. I said very little but no one trusted me. That's just the general feeling of a political site it seems.
