This turned out to be the pivotal moment of the conferenceeven the primal one. When Clinton took questions, a young man from a technology company who identified himself as chairman of Bush-Cheney 2004 in California said he was offended by Clintons partisanship. To which Clinton, without hesitation, and with some kind of predatory gleam in his eye, said, Good! From there, Clinton went on, with emotion and anger, at a level seemingly foreign to most everyone here, to rip to shreds the motives, values, and legitimacy of the Republicans.
Wow! Talk about unpresidential bitterness. Other ex-presidents generally refrain from slamming their successors. Not Bill Clinton. He is VERY angry and VERY bitter.

I JUST stumbled on this very interesting article and was hoping somebody had posted it.
There is nothing more delicious than being around a bunch of out-of-power liberals. Highly entertaining! You can almost see the power-lust bleeding from their bodies. This article describes it perfectly.

Bill Clinton is bitter that he is now OUT of office. Watch how desperate Bill and Hill become when they try to return to the White House. I don't think they can wait until 2008. They could be trying for 2004.

There was a party on the second day for Clinton at the Aspen version of Nobu, and then, later that evening, a discussion between Clinton and President Kagame, hosted by the William Morris Agency, at Whiskey Rocks Bar in the St. Regis Hotel. The pathetic thing about this whole story is that most respectable people in this country would consider a late-night discussion with the president of Rwanda a step down from whatever simple, ordinary things they do in life.

If you lived in the D.C. area when Beelzebubba first infested the White House, you'll remember the impromptu speech he gave in one of the city's public parks. Something went wrong with the microphone at the portable dais as he tried to talk, so he turned to a female staffer and started cursing at her and berating her in front of the crowd and media. The local news station was carrying it live as it started, then cut away. I'm sure the tape of it was never shown again and has probably been burned.
George Snuffleuffagusopolous describes in his book how Beelzebubba would pound his fists on the table during cabinet and staff meetings, yelling how his 'enemies' had to be killed or hurt, with very vile language. There was a book put out several years ago (The Dysfunctional President?) that presents the case that he is a psychopath or sociopath, which is what Dick Morris called him and Hitlery in a recent article. Factor this in with what Juanita Brodderick and other women have to say about him, and he's a real monster. Typical bully-boy. He just needs to get his a** kicked a few times.

Even the assorted journalists hereSlates Michael Kinsley, CNNs Judy Woodruff, Newsweeks Jonathan Alter, Times Joe Kleinwere of the type who had left the sidelines and become ever so comfortable with, and indeed a part of, the power elite. Great remark! These are ADVOCACY journalists of the LEFT.

And they left any pretense of objectivity on the sidelines when that happened...

This is his real persona. The smilin' Bubba "aw shucks!" fellow that the fawning media presented during his presidency is only trotted out for the cameras. People who've worked for him have stated this over and over and over again. He is two-faced.

Everybody seemed to love this. Clinton was not just the beloved former president, but he had become some sort of sassy oracle. Someone wipe that reporter's chin, please...

Michael Wolff is clearly enjoying basking in the glow of the big dogs. He comes across as real lightweight -- little more than a starry-eyed gossip columnist.

Matter of fact, I hope she does. If she wins (she won't), she will be the last female president of any party for a century. There was another time when he was meeting a D.C. official on a porch when he got mad at one of his aides and starting cursing him out on camera.
