"There are some lessons to be learned from the years 1919-45.

The German Nazis and Italian fascists appealed to a mythologized past, manipulated the real misery and fears of common people, sowed widely their racist doctrine of anti-Semitism, railed against injustices of democracy and built totalitarian dictatorships before launching wars against the values of the modern world."

Right on target.

However you stack the "global" economical, political, and military balance, the U.N. is going to be smack-dab in the center of it.

The U.N. does nothing for the United States other than drain your's and mine tax dollars into bottomless pits overseas.

They do nothing for this country economically. They counter anything we do to protect our national interests and do everything they can to coalition against our military efforts.

All the while, we cow-tow and suck up to Kofi for the world media in support of what?

Where was the U.N. when we needed them? Where will they be when we need them next?

Russia, Turkey, Germany, and France all refuse to send peace-keeping military forces into Iraq to assist in rebuilding that country unless ALL (ALL) authority is shifted away from the United States into United Nations control.

Unless you are as brain dead as a Califonika (or N.Y.C.) voter, you know that the interests of the United Nations is ANYTHING but the best interests of the United States.

If the U.N. had their way, there would BE NO United States.
