An open society, like ours, cannot survive in this environment without some BIG changes. There is absolutly no reason why we cannot suspend certain rights until this scourge is over - be it 10 or 20 years. We have to clean out the wimps in the State Department and replace them with realists. Forget Congress, Once the people are properly informed they can badger their representatives into getting aboard or resign - the will of the people!

The lefist libs will die on the vine and return to their holes. The rest of us can then start the process of reconstruction and restore some sanity to this country. Unfortunately, it may take another in-country catastrophy to get this thing kick-started.
