karaoke (fyi for everyone,
not pronounced "Carry Okie") is part and parcel of living in Asia (japan)....well, heck, that's where it started in the late 1970s. at any rate, like it or not, you are going to have to enjoy karaoke if you spend anytime in Asia. a lot of people started out hating it, got a few chances at the mike when out business entertaining, and then got hooked, turned out you could not get the mike out of their hands even if you pried.
"FReeper parody karaoke night". sounds fun.
