Once again the culture of entitlement rears it's ugly head. Why should I be expected to pay for someone elses medicines? Did these people not know they were going to be old one day and perhaps require medical care? I came to that realization when I was in my 20s and have taken steps to ensure I will have medical care for life. Apparently, I am now responsible for myself AND those who failed to plan.

Each bill was initially estimated to cost $400 billion over the next 10 years. What was it that Johnson ( I think) said the total cost of medicare would be? Or never exceed?

Listen up, young people: Whenever a politician, of whatever stripe, comes to within earshot, yell these words at the top of your lungs:

Let's see how many more 'big-government' conservatives I will not vote for again. It really makes me sick to see this unfolding...

And social security (right to invest our own!), and prescription drugs, and one-payer health, etc., etc., etc.,
This is where the young leaves the Left.

This is truly frightening seeing these numbers in black and white. We need to get this information out to as many people as we can.
I will be writing my congresspersons and making sure that I don't want them to vote for these prescription entitlements.
