I wish I could come, but it reminds me of a snide remark Prestowitz made to the World Affairs Council about SUVs. Someone didn't want to limit SUV sales because (I'm paraphrasing) it would be anti-American. Most important discussions occur on the tailgate of a pickup truck, he chorttled. Then he went on to say that was absurd and that we should do everything we could to (in my words) bring back Carter's days of malaise and conservation.

Drive your trucks to meet with pride, and know that there is a Bay Area freeper advocating California off-shore drilling and drilling in ANWAR so that you can each meet in freedom while we come up with alternative fuels :)

Oh man...It's latrine duty for the rest of the day. The First Wife (aka Wife #1) just informed me that her class reunion is that weekend and we have spent big bucks for all the goodies ( rubber chicken and stringy meat). ; - )

I made a test run on the tri-tip today!

I wanted to make sure that I have the “formula” right. Taste test must have passed as six of us managed to dispose of the two that I cooked. I think that I am ready.
