But, as to whether LBJ was capable of doing it, I've absolutely no doubts. You damn right he was capable of doing it.

LBJ stole his first senate election, became a multimillionaire on a max annual Senate salary of $35K and probably helped steal the presidential vote in Texas in 1960 from Nixon. That said, I don't think he would have been so brazen to have attempted this, but I will certainly read the book to find out what "evidence" this guy has.

Because he was capable of it, we're going to be hearing the conspiracy theories forever with very little real evidence to back it up. And the people writing the books get rich.
