I have indeed read Posner and have a copy. It is a perfect example of burying the question in irrelevencies and using information to hide other information. Read his treatment of Ruth Paine and her husband and then find out from others their connections.

However, the people connected to Ozzie are fascinating particularly de Mohrenschieldt (sp). "Suicide" after testifying before the House committee. Some one mentioned Rosselli's mysterious suicide by 55 gallon drum but neglected the little fact that he testified before the same committee shortly before. Or Sam Giancana's mysterious death right after HE testified. Under 24/7 watch by law enforcement, he was killed as a message while the cops were pulled away to investigate a non-existant crime.

One can only believe in no conspiracy by ignoring all these strange and unbelievable coincidencies. It this was not a conspiracy someone is doing their level best to convince us there was.

Hadn't George DeMohrenschildt attempted suicide several times before in the 50s and 60s? I thought he had a history of mental illness. He was even institutionalized by his own wife. He killed himself with a shotgun.

Sam Giancana was only scheduled to appear before the HSCA. He was murdered alright, but he was a high-profile mob boss in Chicago.

There are strange and unbelievable coincidences surrounding every event if you dig deep enough. Plenty of people have been digging aroung the assassination. The problem is one or two or three coincidences support one conspiracy theory, two or three others support another, and some others support a third. The coincidences contradict each other, and no conspiracy theory is remotely convincing when all the facts are looked at. Were Ozzie and Mohrenschieldt and Rosselli and Giancana and the police all in on it? Who was part of the conspiracy and who wasn't? There are plenty of reasons other than covering up a conspiracy to kill the President for knocking off a mob boss. Every coincidence has a mundane explanation. Remember, Oswald was a NUT. He was attracted to and drew the attemtion of other NUTS. That explains alot of his wacky associations.
