According to one report we know what was running though his head. "Do I have change for the soft drink machine." Didn't the first cop or coworker up the steps see him sipping a coke in the luch room. Has that ever been debunked?

I have no idea.
My interest primarily concerns the shooting, and that's only because thousands of say-so'ers insist that it can't be done so they can craft a theory around some other element of the case.
I haven't got a copy of the Warren Report, and only have the book 'Best Evidence' by the lefty lawyer Mark Lane.

A co-worker swore Oswald was in the lunch room on the first or second floor getting a Coke out of a machine. The first officer on the scene asked the manager if Oswald was an employee. The manager said yes and they ran to the 6th floor, while Oswald calmly left the building. The witnesses saw no sign of nervousness or exertion in Oswald.
