Anyone who doesn't want to cut spending isn't serious about solving the fiscal crisis. That has to be number one ---- it's spending or else get more money (taxes)----what other possible way does he think that budget can be fixed?

Having read the whole article, I think the reporter was wrong in their assessment. I read about cutting spending in there...granted, it was in political code-speak, but it was there...
