He was a Black beret, Army Ranger, Commandos bascially, and VERY well trained. Also have very high esprit de corp.

I am assuming that he was probably also airborne, although not all rangers are airborne rangers.

I know 5 Green berets, that have come out of the rangers to train for Special forces. From what I understand, you HAVE to be a ranger in order to even be considered.

My Major in Turkey was also one of the original Delta Force, talk about hardcore.He used to run us 15 miles a day. It was absolutely exhausting the first 2 weeks, after that, it was great fun.

Anyway, I digress, The Black berets are a very special unit, but special forces are even better trained, and they wear the Green berets.

And yes, you should apologize to the Green Berets, Black berets are NOT up to their standards.
